Benjamin Bevan is the Artistic Director of The Goodnestone Festival.
The festival was founded in 2006 and is the performance showcase for the Updown Foundation. Under Benjamin's artistic direction, major artists have visited the festival over the last two years, enabling the foundation to give financial aid and promotion for young musicians from Kent. The Festival receives no public money but raises funds from business and individual donations. The Goodnestone Festival has featured both in the press and on BBC television and radio. In 2007 Joanna Lumley added her support by taking part in one of the concerts which was extremely well received. |
